Dontaine Hogan-Jackson is an experienced beverage and hospitality professional with a career spanning bartending, beverage direction and bar management across the United States.

Currently serving as Bar Manager at Marriott International, Dontaine brings extensive hands-on experience in bar operations, beverage programming, team leadership and guest experience. His background gives him a strong understanding of what makes a spirit relevant not only from a quality perspective, but also in the real-world environment of bars, restaurants and hotels.

Prior to joining Marriott International, Dontaine served as Beverage Director at Bar Takito in Chicago, where he was involved in beverage operations and cocktail programming. His career also includes experience as Lead Bartender at STK Chicago, Bar Manager at Big Whiskey's American Restaurant & Bar in Las Vegas, and bartender with Golden Entertainment.

Having worked across both Chicago and Las Vegas hospitality markets, Dontaine has developed a practical understanding of spirits, cocktails, consumer preferences and the operational considerations that influence beverage selection behind the bar.

As a judge at the Bartender Spirits Awards, Dontaine brings an on-premise perspective to the judging panel, evaluating spirits through the lens of a working beverage professional and considering their quality, value, versatility and relevance for today's bar and hospitality industry.
