Sakhrani Distillery is a female-led craft distillery in Okinawa, built on five generations of expertise and a relentless pursuit of innovation. Nestled in Yanbaru, a Blue Zone renowned for longevity, our whisky is shaped by an exclusive water source from a World Heritage Site mountain, flowing directly and exclusively to our distillery through a dedicated pipeline. This rare, mineral-rich water, combined with Okinawa’s warm climate, creates the perfect foundation for slow, complex maturation—enhancing depth, texture, and balance in every drop.

Our three rare expressions invite whisky lovers on a journey through Japan’s most coveted flavors. Mizunara Expression unveils a tapestry of rich oak, sandalwood, and warm spice, evolving with each sip into velvety waves of vanilla, caramel and incense. Sakura Expression captures the fleeting beauty of cherry wood aging, balancing delicate florals with whispers of honey, stone fruit, and a refined, silky finish.
