Celaya Tequila was founded by former NFL players Ryan and Matt Kalil, inspired by their family heritage and a passion for craftsmanship. After retiring from the NFL, the brothers set out to create a tequila that honors their great-great-grandfather, José Celaya, who crafted his own tequila on his ranch in Sonora, Mexico in the late 1800s. Guided by the family motto, “If something is worth doing, do it well,” Celaya Tequila celebrates tradition, perseverance, and the spirit of generations who believed in doing things the right way.
