Baron Francois was founded in 1982 by Adrien Baron, and rapidly became well known as a key supplier of the finest restaurants in New York city. In March 2000, Adrien has turned over the company to the Lesgourgues family, a vintner and distiller family for three generations. The Lesgourgues produce and distribute, among other fine estates, the acclaimed Château de Laubade Bas Armagnacs and the rising star of the Graves, Château Haut Selve (Bordeaux). Currently, Denis Lesgourgues leads Baron Francois Ltd and its team of hard working and passionate employees.
