Founder, Arturo Lamas III's, great grandfather traditionally made agave spirits in the early 1900’s. This craft was passed down to his grandfather and father but was lost with him. As a child he found himself intrigued knowing he came from a family of distillers. He was curious and eager to learn a craft that was lost, this grew into a passion for agave spirits and lost lore tequila was born. 

Lost lore is a tribute to agave, process and family. We continue to be traditional; we use mature tequilana weber agave, cook in traditional stone/brick ovens, ferment with champagne yeast/classical music and twice distilled in copper pots to create a tequila full of agave aroma and flavor.
