At Echo Spirits, that’s what we set out to create—spirits that carry an echo of those moments.

Echo Spirits started the way a lot of good ideas do—without a clear plan, but with a lot of curiosity.

Founders Joe and Nikhil began by experimenting with fermentation at home, eventually working their way from beer to wine to distillation. What started as a hobby turned into an obsession—built through trial and error, long nights, and a determination to figure things out from the ground up.

In 2019, that curiosity became something real with the opening of Echo Spirits in Columbus, Ohio.

From the beginning, the goal was never just to make spirits. It was to create something people connect with.

We focus on spirits with history—rum and whiskey in particular—and approach them with a balance of tradition and intention. That means using real ingredients, making deliberate choices throughout fermentation and distillation, and building flavor instead of removing it.

Because when you understand what you’re drinking—and why it tastes the way it does—it becomes part of something bigger.
