Born in Oakland, Maritza has grown up all over the Bay Area. She has also worked all over the Bay Area. Her story begins when she started as a cashier at my family’s restaurant at thirteen years old. Over the next eight years she worked in several different restaurants, from front desk clerk to cocktail server.
