Originally from Washington state, I moved to the bay area 17 years ago. It was here that I fell in love with food and wine which led me to pursuing my Sommelier Certificate. That led me into becoming a wine director and beverage manager. I later decided to get into bartending to better round out my restaurant experience. I love to play with flavors and try to push the envelope of what people expect, or have in mind, as to what flavors work together. I have always enjoyed giving people a good experience and showing them something new, be it a new grape varietal they haven't heard of, or some new gin or whiskey.
