Bryson was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, and currently is a spirits professional in the City of Chicago. While in college, he work various retail jobs and made the transit to restaurants;
where he was introduced to the classic cocktail scene by taking Bridget Albert: Southern Wine and Spirits/Academy of Spirits and Fine Service Class and also while working at University Club of Chicago was heavily influenced with high level steps of service. Which lead him to become obsessed with learning as much as possible about technique,
history, and spirits in general. Most of his money and free time are dedicated to attending seminars/classes on spirit history and traveling anywhere with a cocktail bar and or event just to see how others contribute to the
cocktail scene. Bryson has since become a bartender and is proud to work alongside some of the best bartenders in the city of Chicago and being mentored by the best across the Country.He now plays an integral part of Thornton Distilling Company-in house beverage program as Beverage Director/General Manager. Bryson showcases his cocktail artistry with diverse range and love of Whiskey, specifically Bourbon and various other uses of French Liqueurs, Bio Dynamic, New and Old World Wines, fortified wines, craft beer and flavored RTD. Multiple experiments with the unique ingredients in The Perfect Puree Product Line has led Bryson to further expand his knowledge of its culinary usage with a focus on restaurant-quality service in a cocktail bar environment.
