Some of the notable distilleries on Oklahoma's whiskey trail include:

1) Scissortail Distillery

Located in Moore, Scissortail Distillery produces a range of spirits, including whiskey, gin, and vodka. The bourbon is particularly famous and is said to have been one of the first of its kind from Oklahoma. The mash for the bourbon is made with corn, barley, and rye; about 90 percent of the ingredients come from Shawnee Milling Co. and are grown in Oklahoma

2) OK Distilling Co

Among other spirits like wines, vodkas, gins, etc, they have two whiskies: Corn, and Bourbon. Differing from Bourbon, corn whiskey must be more than 80% corn and aged in used or toasted barrels. Using used Bourbon barrels, and aged at least four years, this corn whiskey is light and easy to drink. Often referred to as the preferred “day-drinking” whiskey. (40% ABV)

Visitors to Oklahoma's whiskey trail can take self-guided tours of the distilleries and sample the various whiskies and other spirits. Some distilleries also offer guided tours, where visitors can learn about the history of whiskey production in Oklahoma and the distilling process. Additionally, many of the distilleries have on-site tasting rooms where visitors can relax and enjoy their spirits.

3) Hochatown Distilling Co

Hochatown Distilling Company was formed in 2015 in the heart of South Eastern Oklahoma with the goal of producing the finest quality spirits. The community of Hochatown has a long history of producing quality moonshines, aided by the pristine waters of the Mt. Fork River and the security of the remote bottoms and hollers of the Kiamichi mountains.

4) Wood Works Distilling

With a spicy, bold rye and a roasted caramel forward Bourbon, Wood Works Distilling is like a novel. It produces craft beverages with their own story, inspiration, heroes, hurdles, and its own unique finish.

Their vision is to create a distillery that tells those unique stories in every pour. Refined tastes reflect the provenance of the process and the passion that brought it into being. Wood influences every facet of the making, literally and figuratively … so that our spirit might influence every dimension of our own.

5) Redfork Distillery

This distillery offers two whiskies: Reverence, the hand-crafted Bourbon, and The Heist.

Reverence is a tribute to generations of past bourbon distillers who artfully created the finest of bourbons, Reverence honors this spirit's legacy in American culture, history, and heritage. In 1894, a gang of bandits, led by notorious Bill Cook, held up a train in Red Fork. The marauders wanted cash, but the only loot was three bottles of whiskey. They swiped the libations and drank. Then, they began to offer shots to the train passengers. When the spirits ran dry, they left. The smooth taste of The Heist will give you a taste of the bandits’ ventures!
