30/10/2020 Dulce Dorado Tequila won at the 2020 Bartender Spirits Awards - Special Feature on Los Angeles Drinks Guide
Dulce Dorado [duel-say] [duh-rah-doe] translates to “SWEET GOLD” in Spanish and that is the basis of this incredible Honey and Vanilla infused Tequila.
The recipe goes back over 100 years where it was first distilled in Puerto Penasco Mexico, a small fishing town south of Arizona on the Mexican Baja. Carlos, a small gift shop owner, has carried on the family tradition of infusing the finest 100% Blue Agave with the perfect blend of Honey, Vanilla, and spices to produce the smoothest, easiest drinking Tequila ever.
When Arizona residents Dave Blunier and his Wife Andrea, first experienced its sweet and easy to drink flavor, they knew that this century-old recipe needed to be introduced to the U.S. market. After years of perfecting this small-batch nector, Dulce Dorado Tequila has still produced the old fashioned way and is available in the many markets across the Southwest.
Bartenders globally are experimenting with classic cocktails including Bloody Mary's and Manhattans, driven by craft tequila. The brand was recently awarded 89 points, a silver medal from the 2020 Bartenders Spirits Awards where leading bartenders of the USA pick the best spirits forward for consumers to try in Bars.
